CLINTON, S.C. – Junior Isabel Whitman of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose women's cross country team has been selected as this week's Adidas / Game One PC Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Last Friday at the UNCW Beach Blast, Whitman posted her second fastest time ever as she broke 20 minutes for the second time in her career to finish in fifth place with a time of 19:48.9.
 
In her career, she has posted the 14th fastest 5k time in the program's Division I era. She also holds school records in the 400 and 800 meters.
 
"Izzy is a textbook athlete," Presbyterian cross country coach G.J. Hudgens said. "She could be dominant in anything she does, so I feel blessed she's a part of this sport. I've never seen her look more powerful. She's been chewing through workouts like clockwork."
 
Game One
The Presbyterian College athletic department partnered with Game One on a multi-year apparel agreement in November 2022 as an official team dealer for Adidas. The partnership extended the university's alliance with Adidas which began in 2015 to outfit the Blue Hose athletic programs.
