Blue Hose Back Home to Face VMI

After four straight road games, the Presbyterian Blue Hose return to Martin Stadium to play the VMI Keydets on Thursday afternoon.

Behind two goals from senior forward Damorney Hutchinson in the final seven minutes of the game and a late first half goal from senior midfielder Steven Cordova, the Blue Hose rallied for a 3-2 road win at Coastal Carolina this past Monday.

PRESBYTERIAN – VMI SERIES
Thursday's matchup will be the 11th meeting between Presbyterian and VMI. The Blue Hose lead the series, 7-1-2, with six straight wins in the series. The Blue Hose defeated VMI, 1-0, on the road behind a goal from Sandro Rabarivony in their previous meeting on September 9, 2023.  
 
SCOUTING VMI
  • The Keydets enter the game with a 2-3 record with victories this season over Emory & Henry and Warren Wilson.
  • VMI has lost their last three games to UNC Asheville, Canisius, and Niagara. VMI has been outscored, 12-8, this season.
  • Senior forward Grant Martin and sophomore midfielder Jesse Lee are tied for the team lead with two goals each.
