KINDSETH KILLIN' IT
Paige Kindseth earned the title of Big South Player of the Week on January 13 after delivering back-to-back standout performances against conference foes the week prior. Across the two games, Kindseth averaged 21 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2 assists while shooting 48.6 percent from the field (17-of-35) and an outstanding 87.5 percent from the free-throw line (7-of-8). She also contributed four steals and maintained a strong court presence, limiting her turnovers to just one per game.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
- High Point has amassed an 8-10 record with a 3-2 rate against Big South opponents. They opened the conference slate with three straight wins over Radford, UNC Asheville, and Charleston Southern before falling to Gardner-Webb and Longwood.
- The Panthers average 65.8 ppg while shooting at a 42.3 field goal percentage.
- Senior guard Aaliyah Collins leads the team with 11.6 ppg and with a 56.0 shooting percentage. Collins also is at the top of High Point's leaderboards with 51 assists, 41 steals, and nine blocks.
- Junior forward Nevaeh Zavala is the Panther's best on the boards with 5.4 rpg and 98 total rebounds.
