BURLINGTON, N.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose golf team completed play at the Elon Phoenix Invitational with the third round at the Alamance Country Club.
Presbyterian finished the tournament in 14th place with a three-round score of 871 (+19). The Blue Hose posted a final round score of 301. The host team, the Elon Phoenix, won the tournament with a three-round score of 818 (-34). Elon's Landon Durham captured the individual title with a three-round score of 196 (-17). Freshman
James Rhodes paced the Blue Hose, finishing tied for 32nd place with a three-round score of 213 (E).
Notables
- In the final round, Rhodes shot a one-over-par 72 with three birdies and 11 pars on the round.
- Sophomores Gage Gaskins and Richard Anaclerio finished tied for 53rd place with three-round scores of 219 (+6). In the final round, Gaskins shot a 74 (+3) with two birdies and 11 pars on the round. Anaclerio recorded a final round score of 77 (+6) with 12 pars on his round.
- Junior Spence Hagood finished tied for 56th place with a three-round score of 220 (+7). In his final round, he had one birdie and 11 pars.
- Senior Austin Skoog tallied a three-round score of 236 (+23). He shot a final round 81 (+10) with one birdie and seven pars.
