CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After scoring the game-winning goal in Presbyterian's 3-2 win over Radford this past Saturday, men's soccer freshman midfielder
Thomas Stofring was named
Big South Freshman of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Stofring is the 13th player in the program's history to be named Big South Freshman of the Week. He is the third Presbyterian player to earn a Big South weekly award this season. Tim Baerwalde was the Big South Defensive Player of the Week on October 20, and
Aloni Elfu was the Big South Freshman of the Week on September 8.
PLAY THIS WEEK
The Baerum, Norway native scored his first career goal with a beautiful volley in the 80th minute. The goal proved to be the game-winner in Presbyterian's 3-2 win over Radford this past Saturday.
