CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team finishes the 2025 regular season on the road, facing Charleston Southern on Friday evening (Nov. 14).
The match against the Buccaneers will begin at 6:00 p.m. and stream live on ESPN+.
The Blue Hose will look to end their five-match losing streak on Friday. Charleston Southern won the first matchup between the two this season in Clinton on Sept. 26. The two teams split sets before the Buccaneers took the next two sets to win the match 3-1.
Friday night's match will be the last contest of the season for the Blue Hose.

PC fell in a very tight five-setter with Radford last weekend to drop its fifth straight match. After opening the weekend with a three set loss to High Point, the Blue Hose battled against Radford. PC lost the first set but rallied to take the second set 25-23. The Highlanders won a narrow third set before Presbyterian responded once again to force a deciding set. In the fifth and final set, PC led late but ultimately fell 15-13 to fall 3-2 on Senior Day. For the afternoon, there were a total of 15 ties and eight lead changes.
In the match, PC tied a season-high with 15 total blocks. All three seniors had productive afternoons for the Blue Hose. Elyse Hutchinson recorded seven blocks to go along with eight kills and four service aces. Aliza Hart delivered a double-double for the Blue Hose, logging 21 assists and 16 digs. Sophia Del Valle pitched in as well with 12 digs. Courtney Williams registered eight blocks for Presbyterian, while Brittney Daphnis recorded seven. Ashley Miller led PC offensively with 15 kills.
BLUE HOSE DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Anisa Dorlouis leads the Blue Hose with 19 double-doubles going into this weekend. On the season, she has logged a double-double in 19 of PC's 25 total matches. She ranks second in the Big South in assists this year with 759.
Ashley Miller has recorded three double-doubles of her own this season against Furman, North Florida, and Harvard. Yurkovich has logged double-doubles against North Florida and Dartmouth. Finally, Celimar Hoyos has one double-double this season against Furman.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
Several different Blue Hose sit inside the top 10 of the Big South in statistical categories entering the weekend. Dorlouis ranks second in the league in assists on the season, averaging 8.16 per set. She and Aubrie Arnold both sit in the top 10 of the league in digs. Arnold leads the team and is fifth in the conference, averaging 4.29 per set for a total of 399 this season. Dorlouis is ninth in the league with 344 on the year.
Elyse Hutchinson and Courtney Williams have both ranked inside the top five of the league in blocks for most of the season. Hutchinson is fourth, averaging .99 per set. Williams sits in fifth, averaging .95 per set. Hutchinson also is tenth in hitting percentage at .257 percent coming into this weekend.
Finally, Yurkovich ranks in the top 10 in kills and points in the Big South. She ranks seventh in kills, averaging 2.78 per set. She also is seventh in points, averaging 3.08 per set to lead the team.
As a team, the Blue Hose are second in opponent hitting percentage at just .188 percent. PC also ranks second in blocks and third in digs. Presbyterian averages 2.20 blocks per set and 16.45 digs per set.
SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
The Blue Hose lead the all-time series with Charleston Southern 21-16 since PC became a DI program in 2007. Charleston Southern won a narrow match in Clinton against PC this season in the most recent matchup. Prior to this season, the Blue Hose had won three of the four previous meetings.
Charleston Southern sits in a tie for third place in the Big South with a 7-6 conference record. The Buccaneers come into the match having won five of their last seven matches and hold a 15-12 record overall.
Skylar Yates paces the Buccaneers in multiple statistical categories on the season. She leads the league in service aces with 50 and is sixth in the conference in kills. Emma Bednarek is in the top 10 of the league in hitting percentage and blocks. She is third in blocks and eighth in hitting percentage. As a team, the Buccaneers lead the Big South in hitting percentage and are second in digs.
