SALEM, Va. – The Presbyterian College men's wrestling team entered six competitors to the Southeast Open tournament on Sunday afternoon, officially kicking off the 2025-26 campaign.
Hosted by the Virginia Tech Hokies and featuring numerous teams in the preseason national rankings, 141-pounder
Ryan Luna claimed four consolation-round wins to nab sixth-place in his weight class.
Luna knocked off teammate
Trenton Donahue and three other opponents representing North Carolina, Maryland, and Minnesota.
His win over Golden Gopher Dawson Johnson (4-2 standard decision) put him in the 5
th-place consolation match, ultimately forfeiting to VT's Tom Crook.
Fernando Dominguez,
Jamisen Colongione,
Brandon Jacoby, and
George Hopkins also wrestled at the tourney, each unable to win in two attempts.
