LAST TIME OUT –  Presbyterian lost to 19th-ranked UCLA, 86-46, on the road last Friday. Redshirt senior forward Jonah Pierce led the Blue Hose with 13 points.

INSIDE THE STAT SHEET – Pierce leads the Blue Hose in scoring (14.8 ppg) and rebounding (9.3 rpg). Junior guard Carl Parrish is second on the team in scoring at 13.0 points per game while connecting on a team-high 15 three-point field goals this season. Eight PC players have knocked down at least one three-point field goal this season. Redshirt junior forward Jaylen Peterson is second on the team in rebounding at 8.3 rebounds per contest. BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK - Chidi Chiakwelu was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week this week on November 17. Chiakwelu was the 13th player in the program's history to earn the Big South Freshman of the Week award. Chiakwelu made three big blocks while scoring four crucial points in Presbyterian's road win at Georgia State (November 10). He recorded his first career double-figure scoring game with 11 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the field at South Carolina (November 12).
 
NEARLY RECORD BREAKING REBOUNDS TOTALS – Redshirt junior forward Jaylen Peterson grabbed 17 rebounds in the win over Bluefield (November 5). His 17 rebounds are tied for the fourth highest single game rebounds total in Presbyterian's DI era. The DI era record for rebounds in a game is 18. 
 
DOUBLE DIGIT BOARDS – Pierce has grabbed double-figure rebounds three times this season. He corralled 13 rebounds against Navy (November 3) and ETSU (November 8). He recorded 14 rebounds at Sacramento State (November 16).
 
PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his seventh season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 51 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma mater.
 
PRESBYTERIAN-CIU SERIES – Wednesday's game will be the second-ever meeting between Presbyterian and CIU. The Blue Hose defeated CIU, 100-58, at home in their first matchup, November 9, 2023. Samage Teel led four PC double-figure scorers with 22 points. Parrish scored 15 points while connecting on five threes in the win.
CIU – The Rams average 80.8 points per game while their first nine opponents have averaged 78.9 points per game. Sophomore guard Jeffrey Clark leads five Rams double-figure scorers, averaging 15.7 points per game. Junior forward Johnny Whysong leads the team in rebounding at 8.0 boards per game while averaging 12.3 points per game.
