LAST TIME OUT –  Presbyterian returns to the Templeton Center and picked up a 93-50 win over CIU this past Wednesday. Redshirt sophomore guard Khalon Hudson recorded his first career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Redshirt senior forward Jonah Pierce, redshirt junior forward Jaylen Peterson, and sophomore guard Iverson King added 13 points apiece to the Blue Hose's offensive attack. Presbyterian scored 50 points in the paint and 51 points off the bench.
 
OPENING TIP
INSIDE THE STAT SHEET – Pierce leads the Blue Hose in scoring (14.6 ppg) and rebounding (8.3 rpg). Junior guard Carl Parrish is second on the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game while connecting on a team-high 17 three-point field goals this season. Eight PC players have knocked down at least one three-point field goal this season. Peterson is second on the team in rebounding at 7.7 rebounds per contest. Pierce, Peterson, and Chidi Chiakwelu average at least one block per game. As a team, Presbyterian is shooting 44.5 percent from the field while averaging 67.8 points per game.

BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – Chiakwelu was named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week on November 17. Chiakwelu was the 13th player in the program's history to earn the Big South Freshman of the Week award. Chiakwelu made three big blocks while scoring four crucial points in Presbyterian's road win at Georgia State (November 10). He recorded his first career double-figure scoring game with 11 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the field at South Carolina (November 12).
 
NEARLY RECORD-BREAKING REBOUNDS TOTALS – Peterson grabbed 17 rebounds in the win over Bluefield (November 5). His 17 rebounds are tied for the fourth-highest single-game rebounds total in Presbyterian's DI era. The DI era record for rebounds in a game is 18. 
 
DOUBLE-DIGIT BOARDS – Pierce has grabbed double-figure rebounds three times this season. He corralled 13 rebounds against Navy (November 3) and ETSU (November 8). He recorded 14 rebounds at Sacramento State (November 16).
 
PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his seventh season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 51 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma mater.
 
PRESBYTERIAN-THE CITADEL SERIES – Sunday's game will be the 77^th meeting between Presbyterian and The Citadel, with The Citadel leading the series 50-26. Presbyterian has won two of the last three matchups between the two teams, including a 71-64 home win in their most recent meeting, November 13, 2023. Former Blue Hose Marquis Barnett scored a game-high 20 points.
