NEARLY RECORD-BREAKING REBOUNDS TOTALS – Redshirt junior forward Jaylen Peterson grabbed 17 rebounds in the win over Bluefield (November 5). His 17 rebounds were tied for the fourth highest single game rebounds total in Presbyterian's DI era. The DI era record for rebounds in a game is 18.

DOUBLE DIGIT BOARDS– Redshirt senior forward Jonah Pierce has grabbed double-figure rebounds in two of Presbyterian's first three games. He corralled 13 rebounds against Navy (November 3) and ETSU (November 8). In Presbyterian's other game, he grabbed nine rebounds in the win over Bluefield (November 5).

ROAD WARRIORS - Presbyterian has won three straight road games entering this season after posting road wins at Longwood, Radford, and UNC Asheville to end last year's regular season. This was the second most consecutive road wins by the Blue Hose in its Division I era. In the 2011-12 season, Presbyterian had a stretch of five straight road wins.

PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his seventh season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 51 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma mater.

RETURNING LETTERWINNERS - The returning letterwinners: Pierce, Peterson, who set the program's D1 era record for blocks in a season last year, Parrish, sophomores guard/forward Iverson King a Big South All-Freshman team selection, guard Triston Wilson, and guard Luke Allison.  Two players, sophomore guard Khalon Hudson and freshman forward Chidi Chiakwelu, will be a part of Presbyterian's playing rotation after redshirting last season.

NEWCOMERS - Joining those returners are five newcomers: sophomores guard/forward Josh Pickett, a transfer from the University of Denver, and guard Erik Taylor, a transfer from Sam Houston, and freshmen guards Amare Anderson and JD Bowden, and forward Augustine Ayelyine.

POSTSEASON TOURNAMENT - Last year, Presbyterian made its third postseason tournament appearance in the school's Division I era. The Blue Hose have played in the CBI last two seasons, and PC won two games in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament in 2019.

1,000 CAREER POINTS - Pierce recorded his 1,000th point in his college career with a basket with six seconds left in the Charlotte game  (November 4). Pierce went over the 1,000 points mark in impressive fashion scoring 22 points (shooting a perfect 11-for-11 from the field) in the game.

PRESBYTERIAN-GEORGIA STATE SERIES – Monday's game will be the first-ever meeting between Presbyterian and Georgia State.

GEORGIA STATE – Coach Jonas Hayes is in his fourth season at the helm of the Panthers program. Monday's game will be the Panthers' home opener after road games at Eastern Michigan and Cincinnati to begin the season.
