BELMONT, N.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (3-3) captured the doubles point in each match to go along with six singles wins in the doubleheader to sweep the Belmont Abbey Crusaders, 4-1, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon.

Presbyterian has now claimed the doubles point in four straight matches.

MATCH ONE
DOUBLES
Presbyterian won all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
Pedro Cardoso and
Daksh Prasad got the Blue Hose rolling with a 6-0 win on court two. Then,
David Mamalat and
Evgenios Vasilakis tallied a 6-4 win at number one singles to clinch the doubles point. Presbyterian's
Eduardo Valentin and
Marco Foglieni completed the sweep with a 6-4 win on court three.

SINGLES
Belmont Abbey tied the score at one with a straight sets win at number five. Mamalat put the Blue Hose back in front with a 6-2, 6-4 win at number one. Cardoso recorded PC's third point with a 6-3, 6-2 win on court two. Vasilakis closed out the Blue Hose win with a 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) victory at number three singles.

DOUBLES
With wins on courts two and three, the Blue Hose won the doubles point. At number two doubles, Presbyterian's Cardoso and Prasad tallied a 6-2 win on court two. Foglieni and
Denim Yadav clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose with a 6-4 win at number three doubles.

At number three, Prasad picked up Presbyterian's first singles point in the match with a 6-3, 6-3 victory. Vasilakis recorded his second singles win on the day with a 6-3, 7-6 (9-7) victory on court four. Mamalat closed out the Presbyterian doubleheader sweep with a 1-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory on court one.
