LAST TIME OUT – Presbyterian scored 11 points in the final 30 seconds and had a shot at the buzzer to win the game but the shot and the rally fell short in a 71-70 loss at Charleston Southern on Wednesday evening.

Kobe Stewart scored 19 points apiece.
Kaleb Scott scored 12 points. The Blue Hose defense forced 19 Charleston Southern turnovers.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS – Presbyterian averages 74.8 points per game and 34.2 rebounds. The Blue Hose are shooting 46.9 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from beyond the three-point arc. Mincy leads the team in scoring at 15.3 points per game and assists with 4.1 per game. Mincy has dished out 106 assists this year. Stewart is second on the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game. Stewart grabs 4.9 rebounds per contest.
Jaylen Peterson leads the team in rebounding averaging 6.4 boards per game. Peterson is second in the Big South in blocked shots with 39, averaging 1.5 blocks per game. Scott is second on the team in rebounding grabbing 5.6 boards per game while scoring 8.7 points per game.
Jamahri Harvey, who has connected on 43 three-point field goals, averages 8.8 points per game.

MINCY DISHING OUT ASSISTS - In the win over USC Upstate (Feb. 5),
Kory Mincy recorded his 100th assist this season. He currently has 106 assists which is the most assists by a PC player since the 2018-19 season.
Kory Mincy began the season with consecutive 10 assists games at Charlotte and at home against Carolina Christian. In both those games, he scored in double-figures as well.
TWO-TIME BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK - Iverson King has earned the Big South Freshman of the Week award for two straight weeks (January 20, January 27). King is the eleventh player in the program's history to earn the Big South Freshman of the Week award and the seventh player to earn multiple Big South Freshman of the Week awards. He earned his first award after scoring 13 points while shooting 8-for-9 from the free throw line, grabbing three rebounds, and recording three steals at High Point (January 18). He claimed his second award after averaging 9.5 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field in Presbyterian's two games that week.
BIG SOUTH PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - Mincy and Stewart have captured the Big South Player of the Week awards this season. Mincy and Stewart are the 10th and 11th players in the program's history named Big South Players of the Week. Mincy was named Big South Co-Player of the Week on November 11. Mincy earned the award after averaging 18.7 points and eight assists in Presbyterian's home game against Carolina Christian and road games at Charlotte and NC State. Stewart was named Big South Player of the Week on January 27 after averaging 22 points, four rebounds, and three assists in Presbyterian's two games while shooting 70.8 percent from the field and 60 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
THREE-POINT FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE - Presbyterian ranks third in the Big South and 77th in the NCAA in three-point field goal percentage at 36.1 percent (190-527). Presbyterian has had 11 games this season shooting over 40 percent from beyond the three-point arc which includes a season best 50 percent (9-18) in the win over Wofford on Nov. 13, at South Carolina (5-10) on Dec. 30 and at home against UNC Asheville (11-22) on Jan. 11.
FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE - Presbyterian has had eight games this season shooting at least 50 percent from the field. The Blue Hose are currently fifth in the Big South and 73rd in the nation in field goal percentage at 46.9 percent (708-1510). The Blue Hose picked up right where they left off last season shooting 56.1 percent (32-57) from the field at Charlotte on November 4. PC shot 62.3 percent (43-69) from the field in the win over Carolina Christian on Nov. 6. The Blue Hose shot 58.7 percent (37-63) from the field in the win over Columbia College on Dec. 11. Presbyterian shot 64.2 percent (43-67) in the win over Virginia Lynchburg (Dec. 18). PC shot 59.2 percent (29-49) against UNC Asheville (Jan. 11). The Blue Hose shot 55.6 percent (30-54) in the win over Charleston Southern (Jan. 22). PC shot 53.3 percent (32-6) in the win over USC Upstate (Feb. 5). Last season, Presbyterian had 12 games shooting 50 percent or higher from the field while leading the Big South in field goal percentage at 47.2 percent.
1,000 CAREER POINTS - Jonah Pierce recorded his 1,000th point in his college career with a basket with six seconds left in the Charlotte game (November 4). Pierce went over the 1,000 points mark in impressive fashion scoring 22 points (shooting a perfect 11-for-11 from the field) in the game.
Stewart went over the 1,000 points mark in his Presbyterian career also in dramatic fashion after needing one point to reach 1,000, he scored a career-high 28 points against Radford (January 25). He scored his 1,000th point with a jumper in the lane at the 15:55 mark of the first half.
PC COACH QUINTON FERRELL - Quinton Ferrell is in his sixth season as the head coach of his alma mater, Presbyterian College. Ferrell, a former Blue Hose team captain and a 2007 PC graduate, is one of 50 coaches in the NCAA Division I ranks who are coaching their alma maters.
PRESBYTERIAN-LONGWOOD SERIES - Saturday's game will be the 23
rd meeting between Presbyterian and Longwood. The Blue Hose lead the series 13-9. Longwood beat the Blue Hose, 80-70, the last time the two teams met in Farmville, Va. on January 20, 2024. Presbyterian defeated Longwood, 68-60, in their first meeting earlier this season in the Templeton Center on January 2. Scott led the Blue Hose with 16 points while grabbing seven rebounds. Stewart nearly recorded a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds in the win.
LONGWOOD – Longwood averages 78.6 points while their opponents average 72.7 points per game. Michael Christmas leads the Lancers in scoring averaging points per game. He has connected on 56 three-point field goals. Longwood has won two of the last three Big South Conference Tournament title including last season's title.
