BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Eduardo Valentin posted a singles win but the Presbyterian Blue Hose (3-5) lost to the Samford Bulldogs (8-2), 6-1, on the road.
 
DOUBLES
Samford tallied wins at number one and two doubles to capture the doubles point.
 
SINGLES
Samford posted straight sets singles wins on courts one, three, five, two and four to claim the overall victory. Valentin outlasted Samford's Victorio Sardinha, 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 1-0 (13-11) for the win at number six singles.
