KINDSETH KILLIN' IT
Paige Kindseth earned the title of Big South Player of the Week on January 13 after delivering back-to-back standout performances against conference foes the week prior. Across the two games, Kindseth averaged 21 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2 assists while shooting 48.6 percent from the field (17-of-35) and an outstanding 87.5 percent from the free-throw line (7-of-8). She also contributed four steals and maintained a strong court presence, limiting her turnovers to just one per game.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
- Winthrop has taken an even 13-13 record with a 7-6 mark in conference play so far this season.
- As a team, the Eagles have averaged 61.7 ppg while shooting at a 39.2 field goal percentage.
- Sophomore guard Amourie Porter leads the Eagles on offense with 12.6 ppg while shooting at an impressive 46.3 percent from the field.
