CLINTON, S.C. – Behind five singles and two doubles wins, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (5-5) cruised to a 6-1 win over the Converse Valkyries (1-3) at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Sunday afternoon.

DOUBLES
For the sixth time this season, Presbyterian captured the doubles point. Â The Blue Hose captured the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. At number one doubles, Presbyterian's
David Mamalat and
Evgenios Vasilakis posted a 6-3 victory. Converse evened the doubles wins at one apiece with a win on court two. At number three doubles, the doubles duo of
Eduardo Valentin and
Denim Yadav clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose with a 6-3 win.

SINGLES
Presbyterian won five singles matches to claim the overall victory. At number three singles, Presbyterian's Vasilakis cruised to a 6-3, 6-3 win. Mamalat tallied a 6-3, 7-5 win at number one singles giving PC a 3-0 lead. Converse's Manuel Roncero cut Presbyterian's lead to 3-1 with a win on court two. At number four singles, Presbyterian's
Daksh Prasad clinched the win for the Blue Hose with a 6-0, 3-6, 6-2 victory. Yadav gave the Blue Hose a 5-1 lead with a 6-4, 6-2 win at number five singles. At number six singles, Presbyterian's
Marco Foglieni closed out Presbyterian's win with a 6-4, 6-2 victory.
