CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team (4-11) fell to the College of Charleston Cougars (2-2) after a hard-fought battle on Tuesday afternoon.

DOUBLES
McKenzie Davis and
Mary Ellen Longmire were the first to finish their doubles match at the number three position, defeating the Cougar's Mckenzie Daniel and Helena Huff 6-2. The College of Charleston was able to secure doubles wins at the number one and two slots, claiming the doubles point.

SINGLES
The opponents took wins at the number one and two singles positions, bumping their lead up to a score of 3-0.
Valentina De Sousa halted the Cougar's momentum when she defeated Charleston's Oziera Ahmad 6-4, 6-0 at the number three spot, earning Presbyterian their first point of the match. PC was unable to win the singles matches at the number four, five, and six slots, leaving the final score in the Cougar's favor, 6-1.
