KINDSETH KILLIN' IT
Paige Kindseth earned the title of Big South Player of the Week on January 13 after delivering back-to-back standout performances against conference foes the week prior. Across the two games, Kindseth averaged 21 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2 assists while shooting 48.6 percent from the field (17-of-35) and an outstanding 87.5 percent from the free-throw line (7-of-8). She also contributed four steals and maintained a strong court presence, limiting her turnovers to just one per game.
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS
- USC Upstate has taken a 5-17 record with a 2-7 mark in league play this season. Their Big South victories came against UNC Asheville and Longwood.
- The team has averaged 53.3 ppg while shooting at a 36.8 field goal percentage.
- Senior forward Rebekah Gordon leads the Spartans offensively with 9.0 ppg, a 41.5 field goal percentage, and 8.5 rpg.
