CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The bracket for the 2025 Hercules Tires Big South Conference Men's Basketball Championship was released by the league office following the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday. Presbyterian, who finished the regular season tied for fifth, is the fifth seed and will face fourth-seed Radford in the quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, in Freedom Hall in Johnson City, Tennessee. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Blue Hose enter the tournament playing their basketball of the season with three straight wins while winning five of their last seven games, with three of those victories coming on the road.
Presbyterian's seven Big South Conference wins are tied for the fourth most Big South wins in the program's history. Presbyterian's seven wins are the most league wins by the Blue Hose since winning seven Big South contests in the 2019-20 season. Fifth seed is Presbyterian's highest Big South Tournament seed in the program's history.
Presbyterian and Radford split their two regular-season meetings, with each team winning on the road.
The tournament begins with a first-round game between USC Upstate and Gardner-Webb on Wednesday, March 5. The quarterfinal games will be contested on Friday, March 7. The winner of the Presbyterian-Radford game faces the winner of top seed High Point and the winner of the first-round game in the semifinals on Saturday, March 8, at 12 p.m. The Championship game is scheduled for noon on Sunday, March 9. The first three rounds of the tournament will be broadcast on ESPN+. The Championship game will be televised on ESPN2.
