The Presbyterian Blue Hose men's basketball team's season continues after accepting a bid to play in the purple College Basketball Invitational (CBI). For the third time in Presbyterian's Division I era and for the second straight season, the Blue Hose have earned a postseason tournament berth. Last season, Presbyterian played in the CBI, and the Blue Hose won two games in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament in 2019.
The CBI will be played March 23-26 at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The Blue Hose will play Illinois State in the first round on Sunday, March 23, at 6:30 p.m. Manhattan, UIW, Elon, Army, Queens, Northern Arizona, FGCU, Jacksonville, and Cleveland State will join Presbyterian and Illinois State in the CBI.
The CBI, which has been around since 2008, is a single-elimination, fully bracketed men's basketball postseason tournament featuring 12 teams from across the country competing for a championship in Florida.
The first and quarterfinal rounds will be broadcast on FloCollege (paid subscription required), with the semifinals on ESPNU and the championship game on ESPN2.
