Kindseth & Anderson Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

CLINTON, S.C. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its annual Academic All-District awards following the conclusion of the 2024-25 basketball season. Paige Kindseth and Kishyah Anderson of the Presbyterian College women's basketball team earned spots on the prestigious list, recognized for their excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
 
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be key contributors, appearing in at least 90 percent of their team's games while maintaining a minimum 3.50 GPA. Freshmen are ineligible due to experience limitations.

Kindseth made her mark as a dominant two-way player, recording nine double-doubles, six of which came against Big South opponents. She ranked among the league's best, finishing seventh in scoring (11.9 ppg), second in rebounding (8.4 rpg), and tied for seventh in blocks (0.6 bpg). A key part of PC's rotation, she averaged 30.5 minutes per game, the seventh-most in the conference. Her efforts this past season earned her a spot on the All-Big South Honorable Mention roster.
 
Offensively, Kindseth reached double figures in scoring 18 times and secured double-digit rebounds in 15 games. On the defensive end, she was a force, collecting 190 defensive rebounds (6.3 per game), 32 steals, and 17 blocks. She recorded multiple steals in eight games and two or more blocks in four contests, with one of her standout defensive efforts coming in a win over USC Upstate, where she tallied two blocks, one steal, and five defensive rebounds to help limit the Spartans to just 51 points.
 
Beyond her success on the court, Kindseth excelled academically. As a Business Administration major, she maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA during the 2024 fall semester and is on track to graduate with a 3.68 cumulative GPA. Her dedication to academics also earned her a spot on the Big South All-Academic Team.

Anderson delivered an outstanding season, finishing third in the Big South in scoring (15.6 ppg) while leading the conference with a 46.2 field goal percentage. She was also a reliable scorer at the free-throw line, hitting 71.3 percent of her attempts, the seventh-best mark in the league.
 
Defensively, Anderson was just as impactful, averaging 0.7 blocks (tied for fourth in the Big South) and 1.7 steals per game (seventh in the league). She was a steady presence on the floor, logging 30.2 minutes per game, tied for 10th in the Big South.
 
A consistent offensive threat, Anderson scored in double figures 20 times, including seven 20+ point performances. She capped off the regular season with a historic 40-point game against Gardner-Webb, setting multiple program records.
 
 
Both Kindseth and Anderson's commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics has earned them a well-deserved spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
