FARMVILLE, Va. - Presbyterian won the doubles point and Predo Cardoso and
Daksh Prasad tallied singles wins but the Blue Hose (5-11, Big South: 0-2) lost to the Longwood Lancers (6-7, Big South: 1-1), 4-3, on the road on Friday afternoon.
DOUBLES
Presbyterian posted wins at number two and three singles to claim the doubles point. At number two doubles, Presbyterian's tandem of Cardoso and Prasad recorded the first win of the match with a 7-5 victory. At number three doubles, Presbyterian's
Denim Yadav and
Eduardo Valentin collected a 6-4 win to clinch the doubles point for the Blue Hose.
David Mamalat and
Evgenios Vasilakis were leading their number one doubles match, 6-5, before the match was stopped since the Blue Hose had clinched the doubles point.

SINGLES
Longwood won four of the six singles matches to earn the overall victory Longwood evened the match at one point apiece with a win on court six. Cardoso put the Blue Hose back in front with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at number two singles. Prasad pushed Presbyterian's lead to 3-1, with a 7-5, 6-3, win on court three. Mamalat, Vasilakis, and Valentin lost tightly contested three-set singles matches at number one, four, and five singles to rally Longwood for the victory.
