LEXINGTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women's tennis team (6-17, Big South: 2-3) concluded its 2024-25 season with a 4-0 setback to Charleston Southern (16-4, Big South: 5-0) on Friday afternoon in the semifinals of the 2025 Big South Championship at the Lexington County Tennis Complex.

The Buccaneers secured the doubles point with wins at the top two positions, then added singles victories at the number six, four, and one spots to clinch the match.

DOUBLES
Charleston Southern earned the doubles point with wins on the top two courts. At the third position,
Madison Dennett and
Elle Sceney faced Charleston Southern's Emmie Moore and Brenda Yoris, but the match was left unfinished while tied at 4-4.

SINGLES
Charleston Southern clinched the match with singles wins at the number six, four, and one positions, respectively. Matches on courts two, three, and five were left unfinished, including
Claudia Sanchez at 3-6, 6-3, 2-0 at the number two spot,
Valentina De Sousa at 4-6, 5-3 in the third position, and
Mary Ellen Longmire at 5-7, 6-5 in the number five slot.
