ANDERSON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College cross-country teams, led by
Isabel Whitman,
Habana Rubio, and the men's 4 x 400 relay team, set several school and personal records at the Electric City Invite at Anderson University.
Women's Team
- Breaking her PR by 31 seconds, Whitman broke the one-mile school record by 23 seconds with a time of 5:23.81. She was fourth out of three heats.
- Abby Donaldson also broke the previous school record in the one-mile record bettering her PR by 20 seconds with a time of 5:42.10.
- Habana Rubio PRed in the 100m with a time of 13.53, beating her own school record of 13.60.
- Serena Burch also PRed in the 100m with a 14.28 and grabbed another PR in the 200m with 29.53.
- Caroline Rairigh ran a season-best 800m at 2:37.87.
Men's Team
- The Men's 4x400m Team (Nizeyimana Aristide. Samuel Wall, Gavin Guyton, and Gabe Butler) ran a school record time of 3:36.72.
- Jacob Smith ran the 800m and finished five seconds faster setting a PR of 2:07.98. Smith ran a season-best in the 5000m, finishing with a 17:22.30.
- Noah Kaufman improved on his time by eight seconds in 800m setting a PR of 2:12.40. Kaufman finished seventh in the 5000m with a 17:09.97.
- Wall PRed in the 200m with a 24.41.
- David Harner finished one second off his PR with a strong 4:36.89. He finished 14th out of 3 heats.
- James Crim tied his season best of 11.83 in the 100m.
- Butler got two big PRs. First in the 400m, breaking the 52-second barrier for a 51.58 finish, and breaking the 24-second barrier in the 200m with a 23.40.
