CLINTON, S.C. -- Presbyterian College and head cross country coach
GJ Hudgens released the men's and women's cross country teams' 2025 schedule. The men's and women's teams are scheduled to compete in four regular-season meets culminating with the Big South Championship and the NCAA Southeast Regionals.
"We're beyond excited to welcome such a big class to the team this season," Hudgens said. "It really speaks to the team and bond they share that has attracted so many runners to our program, and we want to make sure they get some interesting races in. Many of the meets we are going to are designed for success, and yet we're treating each one like a rollercoaster of hills, even if they're flat. We're aiming high this year."

Presbyterian will be back on the course for the first time in 2025 at the Friday Night Lights Opener (Women – 4K, Men – 6K) at Elon in Elon, North Carolina, on August 29. For the second straight year, Presbyterian travels to the North Carolina coast to run in the UNCW Beach Blast (Women – 5K, Men – 5K) in Wilmington, North Carolina, on September 6. Then, the Blue Hose travel back to North Carolina for the Brevard XC Classic (Women – 5K, Men – 8K) in Brevard, North Carolina. Presbyterian finishes the regular season at the Royals Cross Country Challenge (Women – 5K, Men – 8K) in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 10.
Then, Blue Hose end October at the Big South Conference Championships (Women – 5K, Men – 8K) hosted by Longwood in Farmville, Virginia, on October 31. The NCAA Southeast Regionals (Women – 6K, Men – 10K) will occur on November 14th in Charlottesville, Virginia.
