WILMINGTON, N.C. – Several Presbyterian runners put their names in the program's record books at the UNCW Beach Blast on Saturday evening.
Jude Rutherford ran the second fastest 5K in the program's Division I era, finishing with a time of 16:45.24 to pace the men's team.
Eliana Watson set a new PR with a time of 22:36.68, which is two minutes faster than her previous PR.
NOTABLES
Noah Kaufman was the Blue Hose's second fastest runner with a time of 17:14.42.
Jacob Smith set a 5K PR with a time of 17:16.80.
Sam Gearheart posted a time of 17:24.35 in his second collegiate race. Kaufman, Smith, and Gearheart posted times that would rank among the ten fastest 5K times in the program's DI era. Rounding out the men's runners were
David Harner (17:47.56),
Robert Volk (18:28.48),
Eason Bazemore (18:53.84),
Henry Hunt (19:09.80),
Samuel Wall (19:24.76),
Nizeyimana Aristide (20:26.83), and
Gage Walker (21:06.37).
Lillian Anderson paced the women's team with a time of 20:02.19. Rounding out the rest of the women's runners were

Alexis Yeung (22:34.99), and
Summer Covey (23:26.38).
