Notables
For the first time since the 2021 season, Presbyterian begins the season on the road. The Blue Hose have lost their last five season openers that were played on the road. In 2004, Presbyterian defeated Pfeiffer on the road, 5-0, in their season opener, which marked the Blue Hose's last road victory in their season opener.

Thursday's game will be the first meeting between the two teams. In football, Presbyterian and St. Thomas are conference foes as members of the Pioneer Football League.
