ST. PAUL, MINN.   – Behind a strong defensive performance, the Presbyterian Blue Hose (0-0-1) begin the 2025 season with a 0-0 tie on the road at the St. Thomas Tommies (0-0-1).
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• In the 11th minute, Max Falconer collected Presbyterian's first shot of the season, which was stopped by St. Thomas goalkeeper Moritz Krenc.
• In the 22nd minute, Iragi Kalala recorded Presbyterian's second shot on goal, but it was stopped by Krenc.
• In the 42ndminute, Presbyterian's Alessandro Libertucci collected his first career shot.
• In the 52nd minute, Libertucci tallied another shot that was blocked.
• In the 80th minute, Falconer collected his second shot on goal.
• In the 84th minute, Falconer recorded Presbyterian's final shot of the game, which was blocked by a St. Thomas defender.

 
NOTABLES

• Goalkeeper Tim Baerwalde recorded four saves in posting a shutout in his first game as a Blue Hose.
• St. Thomas outshot the Blue Hose, 12-6. Each team recorded four shots on goal. Falconer paced the Blue Hose with three shots. Libertucci recorded two shots. Kalala recorded the Blue Hose's other shot.
• Presbyterian had a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
• The 0-0 tie marks the first time in the program's history that the Blue Hose have recorded a tie in their season opening game.
