Big South Weekly Honors
On September 8, after contributing to both goals in Presbyterian's win at Coastal Carolina (September 5), Aloni Elfu was named Big South Freshman of the Week on September 8. Elfu is the 12th different player in the program's history to earn Big South Freshman of the Week accolades.

• Steven Cordova scored Presbyterian's first goal of the season in the 1-0 win over Mount Olive last Sunday. Cordova is tied for the team lead with two assists.
• For the first time since the 2003 season, the Blue Hose began the season with consecutive shutouts. PC began the 2003 season with three straight shutouts.
• Goalkeeper Tim Baerwalde has recorded three shutouts and 17 saves this season.

Big South Opener
Since 2016, the Blue Hose have posted a 6-2-1 record in their Big South opening game. During that stretch, PC beat High Point, Winthrop, Campbell, Longwood, Radford, and UNC Asheville.

Presbyterian-High Point Series
Friday's game will be the 23^rd meeting between Presbyterian and High Point, with High Point leading the series 13-4-5. High Point has won the last two matchups, including a 1-0 win at home in their last meeting at High Point on October 11, 2023. Last season, the Blue Hose lost to High Point, 2-1, at home, October 26, 2024. Presbyterian's last win over High Point was 2-1 in double overtime at home, September 24, 2016.
