Blue Hose Back Home in Martin Stadium to Play ETSU

The Presbyterian Blue Hose will play a game in Martin Stadium for the first time in over three weeks when they face the ETSU Bucs on Tuesday evening.

Last Time Out
The Blue Hose fell to No. 11 High Point, 3-1, in their Big South Conference opener on the road last Friday. Steven Cordova scored his second goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 80th minute. Goalkeeper Tim Baerwalde recorded a season-high six saves.   
 
Big South Weekly Honors
On September 8, after contributing to both goals in Presbyterian's win at Coastal Carolina (September 5), Aloni Elfu was named Big South Freshman of the Week on September 8. Elfu is the 12th different player in the program's history to earn Big South Freshman of the Week accolades.
 
Blue Hose By The Numbers
  • Elfu and Cordova are tied for the team lead in goals (2), assists (2), and points (6).  
  • Ole Smaaskjaer has also recorded a team-high-tying two assists.
  • Eight Blue Hose have scored a goal this season.

Presbyterian-ETSU Series
Tuesday's game will be the seventh meeting between Presbyterian and ETSU, with ETSU leading the series 4-1-1. In their last matchup, the two teams battled to a 1-1 draw at ETSU on August 29, 2024. Former PC standout Carson Griffith scored the Blue Hose's goal. ETSU beat PC, 2-1, in their last meeting in Martin Stadium, September 16, 2023.
