The Blue Hose saved their most exciting match of the season for the non-conference finale last Sunday, erasing a two-sets-to-zero deficit on a neutral floor to execute a frantic victory over Quinnipiac (17-25, 22-25, 29-27, 25-23, 15-11).Â
Julia Yurkovich turned in her greatest-ever performance to captain the comeback, posting 19 kills (15 after only three sets). The Blue Hose survived three Match Point situations in Set Three to win their second match in a row, having also downed Dartmouth less than 24 hours earlier.
BLUE HOSE DOUBLE-DOUBLES
The Blue Hose have recorded 15 double-doubles through the first month of the 2025 season. Junior setter Anisa Dorlouis posted nine, recording 39 assists and 17 digs in the win over Dartmouth. Junior outside hitter Ashley Miller has tallied three double-doubles, while junior libero Celimar Hoyos contributed 10 assists and 16 digs in the same match. Junior outside hitter Julia posted a double-double with 13 kills and 16 digs in the win over Dartmouth. These performances highlight the balanced contributions across the PC lineup early in the season.

CAREER-HIGHS
Several Blue Hose players reached career milestones during the first four weeks of the 2025 season. Sophomore libero Aubrie Arnold set career highs with 32 digs, three aces, and six assists in the win over West Georgia. Sophomore middle blocker Ava Smith tied her career-high with four total blocks against West Georgia, while junior libero Celimar Hoyos tied her career-high with three aces in the same match. Junior middle blocker Brittney Daphnis matched her career-high with eight kills against Furman, and junior outside hitter Ashley Miller set a personal best with 19 kills in the same contest. Junior opposite Courtney Williams set a career-high eight 10 assists against Howard. Junior setter Anisa Dorlouis set a career high with 42 assists against North Florida. These standout performances highlight the depth and talent across the Blue Hose lineup early in the season.

th meeting between Presbyterian and Charleston Southern. The Blue Hose lead the series 22-16. Presbyterian defeated Charleston Southern, 3-1, in their last matchup in Clinton, S.C., on November 15, 2024. Williams (15 kills), Yurkovich (12 kills), and Miller (12 kills) paced the Blue Hose to the win.
