Under the direction of first-year head coach Maddie Moss, the Blue Hose face the host Ospreys on Friday, Sept. 5 at 11:00 a.m., before taking on Howard at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6. PC closes the weekend against Harvard on Sunday, Sept. 7 with a 10:00 a.m. first serve.

The Presbyterian College volleyball team opened the 2025 season at the Georgia State Invitational, dropping matches to host Georgia State and Furman on Friday before bouncing back with a 3-1 victory over West Georgia on Saturday to secure the first career win at PC for head coach Maddie Moss.
 
Across the weekend, Ashley Miller led the attack with strong performances in all three matches, including a career-high 19-kill double-double against Furman. Newcomer Anisa Dorlouis made an immediate impact with multiple double-doubles while running the offense as a setter. Defensively, Aubrie Arnold anchored the back row with a career-high 32 digs in the win over West Georgia, helping the Blue Hose close the tournament on a high note.


BLUE HOSE DOUBLE-DOUBLES
The Blue Hose have recorded four double-doubles through the opening weekend of the 2025 season. Junior setter Anisa Dorlouis posted two, recording 31 assists and 21 digs against Furman and following with 41 assists and 18 digs versus West Georgia. Junior outside hitter Ashley Miller recorded 19 kills and 15 digs against Furman, while junior libero Celimar Hoyos contributed 10 assists and 16 digs in the same match. These performances highlight the balanced contributions across the PC lineup early in the season.
 
CAREER-HIGHS
Several Blue Hose players reached career milestones during the opening weekend of the 2025 season. Sophomore libero Aubrie Arnold set career highs with 32 digs, three aces, and six assists in the win over West Georgia. Sophomore middle blocker Ava Smith tied her career-high with four total blocks against West Georgia, while junior libero Celimar Hoyos tied her career-high with three aces in the same match. Junior middle blocker Brittney Daphnis matched her career-high with eight kills against Furman, and junior outside hitter Ashley Miller set a personal best with 19 kills in the same contest. These standout performances highlight the depth and talent across the Blue Hose lineup early in the season.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS:
North Florida Ospreys
- Hold a 1-3 record to begin the 2025 season, with their win coming against UIC.
- As a team, average 11.5 kills per set while hitting at a .155 clip.
- Freshman opposite Kendall Newbold paces the offense with 37 kills (2.47 per set).
- Freshman setter Sofia Dawson directs the attack with 105 assists (7.00 per set).
- Four players have tallied 30 or more digs, each averaging at least 2.20 per set.
- Junior middle blocker Yarimar Francis Garay leads the front line with 21.0 total blocks.

2024 SEASON RECAP
Presbyterian earned one of its strongest seasons to date in 2024, highlighted by a five-set victory over USC Upstate that advanced the Blue Hose to the Big South semifinals. Junior outside hitter Courtney Williams was recognized on the Big South Second Team after leading the team with 2.53 kills per set, a .265 hitting percentage, and 87 total blocks.
