CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After scoring two goals against Radford, Presbyterian Blue Hose sophomore midfielder
AJ Acree earned Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
Acree is the second Blue Hose men's soccer player to earn a Big South weekly award this season, as
Aiden Burke was the league's freshman of the week on September 21. Acree is the fifth Blue Hose player in the program's history to earn Big South Offensive Player of the Week accolades.
The Wilmington, North Carolina native delivered a second half brace to spark Presbyterian's comeback, rallying from a 2-0 halftime deficit to earn a 2-2 draw at Radford on October 9. Acree's two goals were the first two goals of his Presbyterian career. His performance marked the first time since November 2, 2024, that a Presbyterian player has scored two goals in a game. Acree added four shots to the Blue Hose's season-high 14-shot output against Radford.
