The Presbyterian Blue Hose men's tennis team continues its fall tournament schedule in the Big South Individual Tournament at the Rock Hill Tennis Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina, October 23-25.
The singles draw is comprised of 16 individuals -- two players each from Bryant, Longwood, NJIT, Presbyterian College, and UNC Asheville, with the remaining six slots awarded to the next highest-ranked players in the conference. The doubles draw features eight teams -- one from each Big South squad, with the final three slots determined by the next highest-ranked teams in the league. The individual singles and doubles champions will receive automatic entry into the ITA Conference Masters Championships.
Last season, the Blue Hose captured the Big South doubles titles in both the men's and women's championships.
COMPETING FOR THE BLUE HOSE
Daksh Prasad, who is seeded fifth,
Rafael Asadullin, who is seeded ninth, and
Dario Navarro, who is the 14th seed, will compete for the singles title. Asadullin and Navarro, who are the fourth seed, and Prasad and
Eduardo Valentin, who are the sixth seed, will vie for the doubles title.
