PC Men’s Wrestling Lays Out Full Schedule

CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College men's wrestling head coach Mark Cody has announced the full competition schedule for the Blue Hose this winter, beginning the program's eighth season in just less than two weeks.

PC will open a fresh campaign on Sunday, November 8 for a round robin tournament against Coker inside Templeton Gymnasium. The Scotsmen are scheduled for 11 regular-season events, with nine of them in a dual setting.

Coach Cody returns 19 individuals from last year's unit, including 184-pounder Reed Douglass who became the second wrestler in program history to make it to the Southern Conference championship match in his group.

Presbyterian will host four consecutive opponents in the month of January, with two of those meets occurring against SoCon foes.

MWR Schedule 2026-27

NOVEMBER + DECEMBER

- The first event of the 2026-27 campaign will be a unique one, as Coker comes to Clinton for a round robin tourney where each competitor will wrestle four times each.

- PC begins the standard dual schedule on November 14 with a road trip to VMI. They'll follow that up with two more visits to Gardner-Webb and Davidson on December 3 and 6 respectively.

- This will be the first time in Presbyterian's brief history that each of their first three duals will take place against SoCon opponents.

JANUARY

- Coach Cody will send his troops to the annual NWCA National Duals bracket on January 8 and 9 in Iowa. It will be the Scotsmen's debut in this event against some of the nation's toughest schools.

- Presby comes back home for the first time in over two months on January 17, welcoming the Virginia Cavaliers for a 2:00 start in Templeton.

- That will segue to a pair of league matches versus Chattanooga and The Citadel on the 24th and 29th, with both encounters being streamed via ESPN+.

- The Blue Hose will wrestle their last home dual on Saturday, January 30 in non-conference fashion against Sacred Heart.

FEBRUARY + POSTSEASON

- When the calendar shifts to February, Presbyterian will have just two dates left until the postseason: a three-in-one mixer against Air Force, Bellarmine, and Campbell on the 5th, followed by a visit to Appalachian State on Valentine's Day.

- For the second consecutive season, the Southern Conference Championships will be held in Asheville, North Carolina at Kimmel Arena. Each team in the league puts up one wrestler per weight class for a double-elimination format.

- All 10 title-winners at the SoCon tourney will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships, which will be held in Saint Louis from March 18 to 20.
