LAST TIME OUT
The Blue Hose dropped their season opener on Monday night (Nov. 2), falling on the road to UNC Greensboro by a 58-50 score. Presbyterian rallied from a 21-point halftime deficit to get within seven in the fourth quarter, but the Spartans held on.
Three Blue Hose players scored in double figures to lead the team offensively. Yolanda Floyd scored 14, while Aretha Linger contributed 12 points. Azjah Reeves scored 10 points as well.
CAREER NIGHT FOR YOLANDA
Sophomore Yolanda Floyd delivered the best performance so far of her collegiate career in the season opener at UNCG. She scored a career-high 14 points, surpassing her previous best of 12. She tallied career-highs in made field goals (5), free throws attempted (5), blocks (1), steals (3), and minutes played (24).
MAKING THE MOST OF HER PC DEBUT
Senior Azjah Reeves was excellent in her first game wearing a Presbyterian uniform on Monday night, scoring in doubles figures. She recorded 10 points, going 2-for-5 from three-point land. She also grabbed five rebounds and finished with two steals against the Spartans.
PRESEASON ALL-CONFERENCE
Junior Krystal Haddock highlights the returners for Presbyterian in 2026-27. She delivered an impressive sophomore campaign last year for the Blue Hose, and the Big South took notice. Haddock was named to the league's Preseason All-Conference Second Team. She is the first Blue Hose player to nab preseason honors since Bryanna Brady and Tilda Sjökvist prior to the 2023-24 season.
Last year, Haddock was terrific on the glass, posting three double-doubles on the year while reaching double-digit rebounds four times. On January 23, 2026, she set a new program record on the glass, grabbing 12 offensive rebounds against Charleston Southern. On the scoring front, she reached double figures 11 times, including pouring in a career-high 18 at Longwood.
NEW ARRIVALS TO CLINTON
Coach Sardin welcomes eight newcomers to this year's Blue Hose squad. Five transfers made their way to PC in the offseason. Yasmeen Brightwell, Azjah Reeves, Alyssa Febres, Kyaija Stewart, and Fiona Diomande join the team as transfers. Reeves and Diomande both spent last season at Wichita State as teammates.
The Blue Hose have three new freshmen to round out the new faces in Clinton. Inna Dimova, Dylande Innocent, and Saoirse Smart make up the freshman class for PC. Dimova hails from Bulgaria, while Smart is from Australia.
WELCOME BACK RETURNERS
Five players are back for Coach Sardin this season. Senior Ore Ogunwolere (5.2 ppg, 2.5 apg) returns for PC after leading the team last year in minutes played, assists, and steals. Krystal Haddock (7.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg) is back for more as well, returning as PC's leading rebounder from a year ago. Redshirt freshman Aretha Linger returns after a productive run last year. In just seven games, she averaged 7.7 points per contest while blocking nine shots.
Finally, Yolanda Floyd (3.1 ppg) and Samantha Mullock (2.7 rpg) round out the returners for Coach Sardin. Mullock made nine starts in 2025-26, while Floyd appeared in 20 games.
