FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose advanced to the Big South Championship match play as the top seed after finishing stroke play in first with a three-round score of 848 (-4) after shooting a final round of 282 (-2). Sophomore Jeep Patrick, who won the Big South Individual title last season, finished in a three-way tie for second with a three-round score of  208 (-5).

NOTABLES

• In his final round, Patrick shot a 69 (-2) with six birdies and eight pars on his round.
• Junior Spence Hagood finished in tenth place with a three-round score of 212 (-1). Hagood shot a final-round 71 (E), with two birdies and 14 pars.
• Freshman James Rhodes finished tied for 13^th place with a three-round score of 216 (+3). Rhodes tallied a final-round score of 75 (+4) with five birdies and eight pars.
• Sophomore Richard Anaclerio finished tied for 22^nd place with a three-round score of 218 (+5). Anaclerio shot an even par 71 on his final round with three birdies and 12 pars.
• Sophomore Gage Gaskins finished tied for 30^th place with a three-round score of 221 (+8). On his final round, Gaskins recorded an even par 71 with six birdies and seven pars.

MATCH PLAY
Presbyterian plays High Point in the match play semifinals on Wednesday, April 29. High Point finished stroke play tied for third place with Winthrop, with three-round scores of 851 (-1). USC Upstate, which finished stroke play in second place with a score of 849 (-3), plays Winthrop in the other semifinals. The winners of the two semifinal matches face off for the Big South Championship later on Wednesday afternoon.
