CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (9-7) won the doubles point and two singles matches, but the Blue Hose were nipped by the Norfolk State Spartans (12-8), 4-3, at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

DOUBLES
Presbyterian claimed the doubles point for the tenth time this season with wins on courts three and one. The doubles tandem of
Thomas Anderson and
Eduardo Valentin tallied a 6-3 win on court three. Presbyterian's doubles duo of
David Mamalat and
Matija Samardzic clinched the doubles point for the Blue Hose with a 6-3 win at number one doubles.

SINGLES
Norfolk State won four singles matches to earn the overall victory. Norfolk State tied the match at one with a win at number five singles. Presbyterian's Anderson put the Blue Hose back in front with a 7-6 (7-1), 6-0, at number six singles. Norfolk State took a 3-2 lead with wins at number two and one singles. Presbyterian tied the match at three when Valentin posted a 1-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 win at number four singles. Norfolk State closed out the victory with a three-set win at number three singles.
