TOURNAMENT INFO
- PC conjured up an 8-10 record against Big South opponents this spring, tying G-W for the fourth spot in the final standings.
- The Scotsmen were granted the #4 seed due to their series victory over Gardner-Webb three weeks ago, which entailed a 12-2 run-rule in the second meeting and a dramatic five-run extra-innings comeback by an 11-10 count in Boiling Springs.
- Winthrop earned the #1 seed in the 2026 tournament with a league record of 13-4. Presbyterian was the only team in the division to defeat the Eagles twice, winning a 5-3 rubber match in Clinton back on March 14.
- Upstate (who has captured the last two conference tournament titles) claimed the #2 seed behind a 12-6 Big South ledger. Just behind the Spartans is third-seeded Radford who went 10-8 against divisional opponents.
RUNNIN' WITH THE BULLDOGS
- Wednesday will denote the first postseason matchup between PC and Gardner-Webb since all the way back in 2012. G-W eliminated the blue and garnet 11-9 on that day, surviving a slugfest in Radford that featured 30 total hits and five home runs.
- Presbyterian also encountered the Runnin' Bulldogs in the 2011 postseason at Rock Hill and suffered a similar result, falling 3-2 after a tie-breaking RBI single in the top of the 7

- The Blue Hose are 8-14 all-time in the Big South Tournament, advancing the furthest in 2015 when they were bested by Longwood in the Championship clash.
- PC won two and lost two when head coach
David Williams last had his squad in the postseason four years ago, eliminating both Radford and Charleston Southern before eventually falling to Longwood.
