CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College softball team qualified the maximum number of honorees for the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District roster, announced on Tuesday afternoon.
PC is one of three institutions in the Big South Conference to offer up five individuals on the CSC Academic All-District lineup, along with Radford and Winthrop. This is the second time in a three-year span that at least four Blue Hose made the cut.
Presby's collection of Academic All-District picks this year are (listed in alphabetical order) sophomore shortstop
Baxleigh Arnette, senior first baseman
Blair Darby, senior centerfielder
Gracie DeCuir, senior pitcher
Peyton Duncan, and junior two-way
Avery Robinson.
Student-athletes must meet strict requirements both on the field and in the classroom to be included on this list. Honorees must have a 3.5 GPA or higher while participating in at least 90 percent of their team's games. Freshmen are ineligible.
The Blue Hose ended a four-year postseason drought by returning to the Big South Tournament earlier this month. They posted a final record of 20-32 and celebrated five All-Conference recipients.
