CLINTON, S.C. – After winning the Big South Conference Championship and clinching the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, the Presbyterian Blue Hose men's golf team has been selected as the 14 seed in the Bermuda Run Regional, which was announced on the Golf Channel on Wednesday afternoon (May 6).
As a team, Presbyterian is making its first appearance in an NCAA Regional in the school's DI era after winning the Big South Championship for the first time in school history last week. Jeep Patrick, after winning the Big South Individual title, played in the NCAA Auburn Regional last season.
NCAA Regionals are held May 18-20 at six regional sites. The top five finishing teams at each regional site and the lowest individual on a non-advancing team clinch a trip to the NCAA National Championship, played at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, May 29-June 3.
