CARROLLTON, Ga. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team begins its 2026 campaign in the state of Georgia this weekend, competing in the West Georgia Tournament at The Coliseum.
The Blue Hose starts the season on Friday morning (Aug. 28), facing off against Grambling State at 10:00 a.m.
On Saturday, PC will play a doubleheader in Carrollton. First, PC will take on Northwestern State at 10:00 a.m. before closing out the weekend against West Georgia at 4:00 p.m. on ESPN+.

COACH MOSS
Maddie Moss enters her second season at the helm for the Blue Hose. In her first season in 2025, she led the Blue Hose to Big South victories over Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville. Three Blue Hose players took home CSC Academic All-District honors under her direction.
SENIOR STRENGTH
The Blue Hose are powered this season by their eight seniors. Courtney Williams, Amaris Alvarez, Anisa Dorlouis, Julia Yurkovich, Brittney Daphnis, Celimar Hoyos, and Ashley Miller all return for their senior campaign. Meredith Reisman is the final senior, transferring in from Campbell.
Yurkovich was named to the Big South All-Academic Team, while Yurkovich and Hoyos earned spots on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
INCOMING FRESHMEN
Presbyterian welcomes a robust freshman class to Moss' 2026 squad. Coach Moss brings in seven incoming freshmen to Clinton this season. Xalia King, Cassandra Verley, Ashley Dienes, Sophia Pheney, Reagan Hare, Kaylie Bourn, and Sophia Verdicchio round out the strong Blue Hose freshman class.
TWO TRANSFERS
Meredith Reisman and Keira O'Donnell also join the Blue Hose for the 2026 season. Reisman is a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio, transferring from Campbell. O'Donnell hails from Lemont, Illinois, and is a sophomore, arriving to Clinton after spending last season at Southern Miss.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.
- Grambling State finished last season with an 8-19 record, including a 6-10 mark in SWAC action.
- The Tigers were picked ninth in the SWAC preseason poll.
- Head coach Daniel Cabrera enters his first season at the helm for the Tigers.
SCOUTING THE DEMONS
- This will be the first matchup between the two programs.
- Northwestern State compiled a 1-29 record in 2025. Head coach Ben Kaszeta is in his second season as the leader of Northwestern State volleyball.
- The Demons were picked 12th in the Southland Conference preseason poll.
SCOUTING THE WOLVES
- Presbyterian College won the lone meeting between the two teams last season, picking up a 3-1 victory over West Georgia in Atlanta. Yurkovich, Miller, and Williams all recorded double-digit kills for PC to lead the way.
- The Wolves ended last season with a 2-27 record. Head coach Adam Milewski leads West Georgia in his first season at the helm.
- The Wolves were picked ninth in the United Athletic Conference preseason poll.
