SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team (3-0) continues its road trip on Tuesday evening (Sept. 1), squaring off against Wofford at 6:00 p.m. in Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Hose are the only team in the Big South to start the season an undefeated 3-0.

LAST TIME OUT
The Blue Hose won all three of their matches at the West Georgia Tournament in Carrollton, Ga. to open the season. PC defeated Grambling State in four sets on Friday morning (Aug. 28) before picking up victories over Northwestern State and West Georgia to close out the weekend on Saturday (Aug. 29). The Blue Hose swept the Demons and took down the Wolves in four sets.
PC dropped its opening set of the season on Friday but rattled off eight consecutive set wins before the streak came to a close against West Georgia in the third frame.
Against Northwestern State, the Blue Hose posted its highest hitting percentage (.333) since 2019.
RECORD SETTING START
With Presbyterian's undefeated 3-0 record, this is the Blue Hose's best start in program history in the Division I era. PC's previous best start was in 2016, where the Blue Hose won two straight to open the year.
TRIPLE-DOUBLE
Anisa Dorlouis delivered a dominant performance to open the year against Grambling State. She recorded her first career triple-double, posting 33 assists, 19 digs, and 12 kills for PC. She registered Presbyterian's first triple-double since Anna Baranski had one at UNC Asheville on Nov. 2, 2024.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
After an outstanding weekend, Presbyterian leads the Big South in hitting percentage (.270), blocks (2.64 per set), fewest blocks allowed (1.09 per set), lowest opponent hitting percentage (.088), and digs (17.1 per set).
Individually, Dorlouis leads the conference in hitting percentage at .564 percent. She also sits in the top five in assists at 7.55 per set. Celimar Hoyos powers the league in digs, recording 5.36 per set.
Meredith Reisman and Brittney Daphnis both are in the top five of the Big South in blocks, averaging 1.10 and 1.09 per set respectively.
COACH MOSS
Maddie Moss enters her second season at the helm for the Blue Hose. In her first season in 2025, she led the Blue Hose to Big South victories over Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville. Three Blue Hose players took home CSC Academic All-District honors under her direction.
SENIOR STRENGTH
The Blue Hose are powered this season by their eight seniors. Courtney Williams, Amaris Alvarez, Anisa Dorlouis, Julia Yurkovich, Brittney Daphnis, Celimar Hoyos, and Ashley Miller all return for their senior campaign. Meredith Reisman is the final senior, transferring in from Campbell.
Yurkovich was named to the Big South All-Academic Team, while Yurkovich and Hoyos earned spots on the CSC Academic All-District Team.
INCOMING FRESHMEN
Presbyterian welcomes a robust freshman class to Moss' 2026 squad. Coach Moss brings in seven incoming freshmen to Clinton this season. Xalia King, Cassandra Verley, Ashley Dienes, Sophia Pheney, Reagan Hare, Kaylie Bourn, and Sophia Verdicchio round out the strong Blue Hose freshman class.
TWO TRANSFERS
Meredith Reisman and Keira O'Donnell also join the Blue Hose for the 2026 season. Reisman is a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio, transferring from Campbell. O'Donnell hails from Lemont, Illinois and is a sophomore, arriving to Clinton after spending last season at Southern Miss.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
- Wofford leads the all-time series against Presbyterian, holding a narrow 20-18 record. In the DI era (since 2007), the Terriers have won nine of the 11 overall meetings. PC's last victory over the Terriers came in 2018.
- Wofford opened the season with two victories in Davidson, N.C. over the weekend. The Terriers swept Winthrop before defeating Davidson in four sets.
- Chloe Smith powers Wofford offensively with 29 kills. Defensively, Laney Klika paces the Terriers with 38 digs.
- Head coach Lynze Roos enters her 12th season at the helm for Wofford.
