The Presbyterian College men's and women's cross country teams are back on the course at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama, on Friday, September 18. The men's 8K begins at 9:45 a.m., and the women's 5K starts at 10:35 a.m. Both races will take place at the John Hunt Cross Country Park.

About the Blue Hose

• Presbyterian coach Bus Baker is in his first cross country season as the Blue Hose's head coach after taking over the reins of the program last November.
• Presbyterian's women's team returns five letterwinners while welcoming two newcomers to the 2026 roster.
• The men's team has 11 returning letterwinners while adding four newcomers. 

Notables

• Senior Garrison Fisher set the school's 6K record at Presbyterian's season-opening meet at the Bruins XC Night Classic on September 4. Fisher ran a record-breaking time of 19:32.1.
• Sophomore Katie Stevenson paced the Blue Hose women's team by posting the third-fastest 4K time in school history at 16:15.3 at the Bruins NX Night Classic.
