CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team (6-8) begins conference play at home on Friday (Sept. 25), taking on Charleston Southern at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
Friday night's contest will be Alumni Night at the Templeton Center.

LAST TIME OUT
Presbyterian played three matches last weekend in the Geri Polvino Invitational, hosted by Eastern Kentucky. PC fell to the Colonels and Appalachian State in three sets before dropping a five-set thriller to Tennessee Tech. The Blue Hose lost the first two sets but rallied to force a deciding fifth frame, where the Golden Eagles prevailed.
Anisa Dorlouis was named to the All-Tournament Team. She posted 27 assists and 14 digs against Tennessee Tech.
RECORD SETTING START
Presbyterian opened the season with an undefeated 3-0 record, giving the team its best start in program history in the Division I era. PC's previous best start was in 2016, where the Blue Hose won two straight to open the year. This is the fastest that PC has ever reached six victories in the team's DI era.
BLOCK PARTY
The Blue Hose front line has been outstanding at the net this season. Coming into Friday night, Presbyterian leads the Big South in blocks (116.5 total, 2.24 per set) and fewest blocks allowed (1.65 per set). Meredith Reisman has impressed all year, leading the conference in total blocks (56). She ranks third in the league in blocks per set (1.14). Courtney Williams also ranks in the top 10, coming in at seventh (0.85 blocks per set).
TRIPLE-DOUBLE QUEEN
Anisa Dorlouis has had a terrific season, already producing two triple-doubles. She delivered a dominant performance to open the year against Grambling State on Aug. 28, recording 33 assists, 19 digs, and 12 kills for PC. She logged another triple-double against Queens on Sept. 5, posting a career-high 44 assists to go along with 19 digs and 10 kills. She has nine double-doubles this year. On Sept. 8, she reached 1,000 career assists at PC, becoming the ninth player in the team's DI history to accomplish the feat.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
As a team, Presbyterian ranks second in the Big South in lowest opponent hitting percentage (.183).
Individually, Celimar Hoyos is third in the league in digs, averaging 4.45 per set. Her 227 overall digs rank second. She has been very productive for the Blue Hose in 2026, earning Big South Libero of the Week honors on Sept. 8.
Anisa Dorlouis ranks fifth in the conference in assists (7.17 per set) and seventh in digs (3.21 per set). Williams has also delivered offensively, ranking tenth in hitting percentage (.278). Finally, Emma McHatten is eighth in the league in kills (2.70 per set).
COACH MOSS
Maddie Moss enters her second season at the helm for the Blue Hose. In her first season in 2025, she led the Blue Hose to Big South victories over Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville. Three Blue Hose players took home CSC Academic All-District honors under her direction.
SENIOR STRENGTH
The Blue Hose are powered this season by their eight seniors. Courtney Williams, Amaris Alvarez, Anisa Dorlouis, Julia Yurkovich, Brittney Daphnis, Celimar Hoyos, and Ashley Miller all return for their senior campaign. Meredith Reisman is the final senior, transferring in from Campbell.
INCOMING FRESHMEN
Presbyterian welcomes a robust freshman class to Moss' 2026 squad. Coach Moss brings in seven incoming freshmen to Clinton this season. Xalia King, Cassandra Verley, Ashley Dienes, Sophia Pheney, Reagan Hare, Kaylie Bourn, and Sophia Verdicchio round out the strong Blue Hose freshman class.
TWO TRANSFERS
Meredith Reisman and Keira O'Donnell also join the Blue Hose for the 2026 season. Reisman is a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio, transferring from Campbell. O'Donnell hails from Lemont, Illinois and is a sophomore, arriving to Clinton after spending last season at Southern Miss.
SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
- Presbyterian leads the series 21-18 in PC's DI era. Charleston Southern has won the most recent two matchups. The Blue Hose last defeated the Bucs in 2024.
- Charleston Southern owns an 8-5 record leaving non-conference play. The Buccaneers come into Friday having won three of their last four, taking down Bethune-Cookman, Montana State, and Mercer.
- Head coach Carry Brown leads the Buccaneers in her fourth season.
