CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian Blue Hose (0-5) battled from start to finish, creating several scoring opportunities against an undefeated Georgia State Panthers (4-0-1) squad before falling 3-0 at Martin Stadium on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 25th minute, Presbyterian's first scoring chance came when AJ Acree blasted a shot from 20 yards out that was stopped by a diving save from Georgia State goalkeeper Jackson Burrell.
- In the 46th minute, Gabriel Leslie nearly scored the game's first goal for the Blue Hose when he blasted a shot from about 15 yards out that forced a diving save from Georgia State's Burrell.
- Just seconds later, off a Blue Hose corner kick, Presbyterian's Mila Kapor's header was cleared off the line by a Georgia State defender.
- In the 50th minute, Georgia State's Gerber Martinez scored the game's first goal.
- Two minutes later, Presbyterian's Hendrix Mota nearly scored the equalizing goal, but his shot was stopped by Georgia State's Burrell.
- In the 65th minute, Georgia State took a 2-0 lead after a goal from Brandon Graham.
- In the 80th minute, Graham scored his second goal of the game for Georgia State.
NOTABLES
- Presbyterian finished the game with nine shots with six shots on goal. Kapor and Acree paced the Blue Hose with two shots apiece. Leslie, Mota, Aiden Burke, Kenshin Akimoto, and Dylan Furlonge added shots to the Blue Hose offensive attack.
- Presbyterian goalkeeper Saed Anabtawi recorded three saves in the game.
- The Blue Hose finished the game with a 5-4 advantage on corner kicks.
