CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College volleyball team (5-2) will play at home for the first time this season on Tuesday evening (Sept. 8), taking on Charleston at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN+ at the Templeton Center.

LAST TIME OUT
Presbyterian had a great weekend in Greenville, winning two of its three matches. The Blue Hose fell in four sets to Furman before picking up back-to-back victories over North Carolina A&T and Queens to finish the week.
On Saturday against Queens, PC trailed 24-22 in the fourth set but came up clutch to avoid a deciding fifth set, winning four straight points to clinch the win over the Royals.
RECORD-SETTING START
Presbyterian opened the season with an undefeated 3-0 record, giving the team its best start in program history in the Division I era. PC's previous best start was in 2016, where the Blue Hose won two straight to open the year. This is the fastest that PC has ever reached five victories in the team's DI era.
TRIPLE-DOUBLE MACHINE
Anisa Dorlouis has been on fire for the Blue Hose this season, already producing two triple-doubles. She delivered a dominant performance to open the year against Grambling State on Aug. 28, recording 33 assists, 19 digs, and 12 kills for PC. She logged another triple-double against Queens on Sept. 5, posting a career-high 44 assists to go along with 19 digs and 10 kills. She already has five double-doubles this year.
BLUE HOSE BY THE NUMBERS
Entering Tuesday night's contest, the Blue Hose lead the Big South in several categories, including blocks (2.28 per set), fewest blocks allowed (1.48 per set), and digs (16.78 per set).
As a team, Presbyterian is also second in lowest opponent hitting percentage (.151) and points (16.50 per set).
Individually, Celimar Hoyos powers the league in digs, averaging 5.22 per set. Anisa Dorlouis ranks second in the conference in assists at 8.07 per set. She is also seventh in digs (3.44 per set).
Meredith Reisman has been dominant on PC's front line this season, ranking fourth in the league in blocks at 1.00 per set. Brittney Daphnis and Courtney Williams also rank in the top 10. Williams has been outstanding offensively for PC as well, sitting in 8th in the Big South in hitting percentage (.341) and kills (2.81 per set).
COACH MOSS
Maddie Moss enters her second season at the helm for the Blue Hose. In her first season in 2025, she led the Blue Hose to Big South victories over Gardner-Webb and UNC Asheville. Three Blue Hose players took home CSC Academic All-District honors under her direction.
SENIOR STRENGTH
The Blue Hose are powered this season by their eight seniors. Courtney Williams, Amaris Alvarez, Anisa Dorlouis, Julia Yurkovich, Brittney Daphnis, Celimar Hoyos, and Ashley Miller all return for their senior campaign. Meredith Reisman is the final senior, transferring in from Campbell.
INCOMING FRESHMEN
Presbyterian welcomes a robust freshman class to Moss' 2026 squad. Coach Moss brings in seven incoming freshmen to Clinton this season. Xalia King, Cassandra Verley, Ashley Dienes, Sophia Pheney, Reagan Hare, Kaylie Bourn, and Sophia Verdicchio round out the strong Blue Hose freshman class.
TWO TRANSFERS
Meredith Reisman and Keira O'Donnell also join the Blue Hose for the 2026 season. Reisman is a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio, transferring from Campbell. O'Donnell hails from Lemont, Illinois and is a sophomore, arriving to Clinton after spending last season at Southern Miss.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
- This will be the 4th matchup between the two teams in PC's DI era (since 2007). Charleston has won all three meetings with the most recent matchup occurring in 2012.
- The Cougars own a 4-2 overall record to start the season. Charleston dropped its first two matches of the year before winning its last four. This past weekend, Charleston defeated The Citadel, Charleston Southern, and South Carolina State.
- Caroline Noonan leads the Cougars overall, averaging 2.88 kills and 1.19 blocks per set.
- Head coach Jason Kepner leads Charleston in his 20th season.
