Biography

2019: Started all 17 games on defense … Co-Captain … Preseason All-Big South and All-Big South Honorable Mention … Led the team with 17 caused turnovers … Second on the team with 23 ground balls … Scored a goal and an assist in the home win over Delaware State (3/8) … Finishes her career ranked third with 72 caused turnovers and fifth with 119 ground balls.

 

2018: Played in and started all 17 games ... Gathered 30 ground balls and finished with a team-best 19 caused turnovers ... Had a single-game best of three caused turnovers on four occasions, all in Big South play ... Her single-game high of five ground balls came in the season finale at Radford (4/21) ... Scored one goal at Delaware State (3/17).


2017: Played in all 16 games and made 15 starts ... Totaled 22 ground balls, three draw controls, and was third on the team in caused turnovers with 13 ... Tied a career high with three caused turnovers in the season-opener against Mercer (2/11) ... Had three ground balls at UC Davis (3/1), at Fresno State (3/3), and at Gardner-Webb (4/8).


2016: Appeared in all 18 games, making 16 starts ... Finished third on the team in caused turnovers with 23 and fourth on the team in ground balls with 44 ... Recorded a season-high five ground balls against Fresno State (2/26), Stetson (3/5) and Campbell (4/13) ... Tallied a season-high four draw controls against Radford (4/9) ... Forced at least one caused turnover in 16 different games.


High School: Was a midfielder/defensive player at Old Saybrook High School in Old Saybrook, Connecticut ... Through her junior year, Roarick had scored 61 goals and dished out 55 assists ... In 2014, Roarick was named First Team All-State, and in her freshman and sophomore years, she was named Second Team All-State ... As a freshman and a junior, Roarick was named First Team All-Shoreline, and in her junior year she earned Second Team All-Shoreline honors ... Roarick was also named a Shoreline Conference Scholar Athlete for Lacrosse and named a U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete ... In addition to lacrosse, Roarick also played basketball, soccer, and field hockey ... For two seasons, she was named to the Honorable Mention All-Shoreline team for field hockey ... Roarick was involved with numerous cancer benefits, volunteering at the Old Lyme Soup Kitchen, and helping out at youth sport practices.
