High School/Club: A graduate of West Wilkes High School, Woods saw her team win the conference championship twice (2011 and 2012) and win the conference tournament championship (2012) ... A four-year letter-winner, she earned All-County, All-Conference, All-State and All-Tournament honors twice ... In 2012, Woods was also named to the All-District team, as well as being named Hitter-of-the-Year, Mountain Valley Player-of-the-Year, 1A State Player-of-the-Year and District Player-of-the-Year ... She also lettered in volleyball ... Playing for the Carolina Cardinals club team, she helped her team to second at Nationals in 2012, as well as sixth at the Colorado Independence Tournament ... She also played in the 2012 NSA State Championship ... Woods was a member of the 2005 Little League State Champions, the Wilkes County All-Stars ... An honors graduate, Woods was a member of the Key Club and the National Technical Honors Society and Student Council ... She chose PC due to the small size, friendly staff and great atmosphere ...
