Biography

2022-23: Proved to be a fearsome competitor in the smallest weight class (101), picking up 31 wins out of 38 matches to feature her...Concluded her junior round as the 5th-ranked wrestler in the nation among her division, climbing as high as #4 mid-year...Penned 18 victories by either fall or technical (13 of the former, five of the latter), enough to give her the third-highest win percentage on the roster at 82%...Came in first or second at six different tournaments, posting an individual championship at the Princeton Open (Nov. 6), the Robert Horton Open (Jan. 22), and the Limestone Open (Feb. 5) with a combined 10-0 record in those events...Gained a bronze placement at the vaunted Midlands Championships (Dec. 30), giving Miller the momentum needed to embark on a 15-1 record over a six-week period approaching postseason play...Completed a runner-up standing at the Southeast Regionals (Feb. 18), carrying her to a 5th-place conclusion at the ensuing National Tournament two weeks later.

2021: Went 6-7 during the season… finished third at the Emmanuel Invitational after a 3-1 performance… finished third at the NCWWC Southeast Regionals… earned all-american status at the NCWWC… earned four wins via pinfall including two at Emmanuel… earned two wins via pinfall at NCWWC en route to All-American status… Earned a spot as one of six Blue Hose to compete at NCWWC…

Before PC: She was the first female varsity wrestler at Parkersburg South High School while a part of the #1 team in the state… Miller was a Powerade JV runner up… she was the first female to win a pair of matches making it to the blood round at West Virginia Boys State in nine years… she earned USA rankings all four year of high school… she also earned the 2020 Wrestling Hall of Fame Tricia Saunders Award for the state of West Virginia… Miller was a 4x honoree of the West Virginia All-Star Academic and Athletics Team…

Personal: Samantha Ann Miller was born in Parkersburg, W.Va. to Donald and Stephanie Miller… she chose PC because of the community in Clinton and the women’s wrestling program… she plans to major in the Biology/Pre-Med field…
