Biography

2024: Transitioned smoothly from guard to left tackle as a senior and captained a Blue Hose offensive line that assisted in over 4,600 total yards...Named All-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention for the second season in a row while never missing a game, helping PC to an average of 153 rushing yards per contest...Presby ran for at least 180 yards against five different opponents and threw for over 250 yards six times under Bennett's watch...PC blazed Stetson near the season's end with 329 rushing yards, the school's highest-ever number against a fellow Division I opponent...Altogether, the Blue Hose carried for nearly 2,000 yards while Bennett contributed to a campaign-closing four-game winning streak (the program's longest such streak in 17 years)...His Senior Day was one for the ages, as Presbyterian knocked off #23 Butler at Bailey Memorial Stadium (the school's first win over a nationally-ranked opponent in a full decade)...Bennett aided PC's first undefeated record in the month of November since 2002, and capped off his college career by being named to the CSC Academic All-District team for the third year in a row.

2023: Produced arguably his most efficient slate yet as a junior, transitioning from center to guard in the offseason and starting the club's first 10 outings...Although missing out the finale versus Morehead State to end a streak of 32 consecutive appearances, was a major part in PC's offensive line progression during a year where the Blue Hose gathered over 3,600 total yards...Named All-PFL Honorable Mention after captaining the o-line to 400 more rushing yards than the previous year and seven separate triple-digit yardage performances on the ground...Presby published an average of 329 yards per outing with Bennett in the formation, rushing for over 200 twice while gaining two other showings with 300+ in the passing attack...Selected for College Sports Communicators Academic All-District for the second season in a row thanks to a 3.57 GPA on a double major of Business Administration and Economics.

2022: Started all 11 games over his second year with the program, manning the center spot on the PC offensive line on each occasion...Part of a unit that reached nearly 3,300 total yards for the season (956 rushing, 2,342 passing), one of two o-linemen for the Blue Hose to start each bout...Helped PC gather 100+ rushing yards five times, including a season-high 158 vs. Virginia-Lynchburg (9/10)...Aided a season-best 364-yard passing effort vs. Dayton (11/5) in the 2022 home finale, one of six performances on the year with 200 yards or more through the air...Named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team behind a 3.63 business administration GPA.

Fall 2021: Played in all 11 games with four starts… his four starts came at guard… was the Blue Hose primary special teams snapper… was a part of an offensive line that totaled 517.9 offensive yards per game… the Blue Hose offense ranked in the top five in all of FCS with 414.6 passing yards per contest… was a part of an offense that saw quarterback Ren Hefley recorded three games with 500+ passing yards… had running back Delvecchio Powell total a pair of 100+ yard games… the Blue Hose offense had 11 games with 100+ receiving yards led by freshman Jalyn Witcher with six games…

Before PC: Was an all-region and all-state offensive lineman while at Pierce County High School… was selected multiple times as a team captain… also a member of the track and weight lifting team at Pierce County… his parents have been his biggest influence growing up because they pushed him to become the best him that he could be… he wants to get into veterinarian field following college…
